Hannah Taylor runs Sugar Road amusement park in Elmvale, Ontario. Jesse Emberley is a world famous musician. 12 years ago, they met in a magical chance encounter and shared a night beneath the stars before being separated by his rise to fame. Now Jesse’s coming back to perform at the Spurs and Hearts Music Festival, and the whole town is buzzing. Is Hannah ready for an encore performance? Ready or not, this time her pushy but well-meaning friends will make sure Hannah and Jesse don’t part before they confront the choices that have separated them and the reasons neither have moved on.
