The Gravel-Aires
Original Acoustic Roots, North-Americana, Alt-Country and Blues music. Formed in 2016 by singer/songwriter Mark Branscombe on guitar/harmonica and Michael Mahoney on guitar, dobro & mandolin, The Gravel-Aires are a 5-piece roots and country rock band with Stuart Bedard on drums, Bob McIntosh on bass and Tom Hammel featured on pedal steel, electric guitar and mandolin.
The Gravel-Aires first album of original music “National Avenue” was released in 2018, a very rootsy acoustic collection
Their album “Headlights in the Rear View Mirror” was released in 2021 with a video produced for the single “Three Quarter Time” receiving airplay in the UK, US, Canada and Australia. The album was reviewed in The Vancouver Sun by Stuart Derdeyn March 1 2021.
In 2024 The Gravel-Aires celebrate their 3rd album release, Westerly, which includes 11 original songs that retains their acoustic roots and saddles up with a bit more sonic horsepower under the hood than previous releases. Listen for influences of The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Bros, The Faces, Tom Petty, Steve Earle or Wilco.

Luc Ferdinands
Singer-songwriter, Luc Ferdinands, has been a musician since birth. He could be found shredding solos in his crib and performing for toddlers everywhere. His songs have been described as “rock candy” due to his memorable melodies. Luc is currently releasing new music and performing around the Lower Mainland.
