Inspired by the legacy of legendary Canadian pianist Glenn Gould, The Glenn Gould Foundation advances an understanding of the transformative power of music through its concerts, symposia and the presentation of the $100,000 Glenn Gould Prize, sometimes referred to as “Canada’s Nobel Prize of the Arts.”  The Foundation has a deep commitment to promoting the future of music through encouraging young artists.  Our relationship with the sublimely gifted young pianist Ryan Wang goes back a decade, and we are thrilled to present this homecoming concert with him, in what is sure to be one of the highlights of the Vancouver musical season.
